Companies Eligible for the Renovation of Private Sector Buildings Grant Scheme

Micro, Small, Medium and Large Enterprises engaged in an economic activity, irrespective of their legal form.

Exclusions from the Renovation of Private Sector Buildings Grant Scheme

Exclusions include Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; processing and marketing of agricultural products; manufacturing, processing and marketing of tobacco and tobacco products; Public entities not involving the carrying out of an economic activity; Energy Generation, distribution and infrastructure; Steel and coal Sector; Shipbuilding; Transport Sector; Synthetic Fibres Sector; Financial and insurance activities; Real Estate activities; Gambling and Betting Activities.

Maximum Grant

€300 per sqm capped at €1 million per undertaking.

Eligible Costs

The eligible costs shall be the extra investment costs necessary to achieve the higher level of energy efficiency for the following:

• Actions involving systems for the energy used for heating, cooling, ventilation, hot water and lighting.
• Interventions on the building envelope that reduce the energy demand by reducing the energy used for heating, cooling, ventilation, hot water and lighting.
